Dr. Sunder Gidumal is a facial plastic surgeon practicing in the heart of Beverly Hills. He completed his fellowship in Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at UCLA, one of the most prestigious fellowships in the country approved by the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
His surgical foundation was built at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, where he completed residency in Head & Neck Surgery and was awarded the Chairman Award as the program's top resident for excellence in scholarship and surgery. He was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha, an honor reserved for the top 1% of resident physicians nationally.
Dr. Gidumal earned his M.D. from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and graduated magna cum laude from Dartmouth College with a degree in neuroscience, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
In 2024, he traveled to Kyiv on a military trauma mission, performing 18 facial reconstructions on soldiers and civilians injured in the Ukraine-Russian war — work recognized by the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery with its Special Distinction in Global Service.
